Cross posted for at least on person of my friends list who was interested in going.
Jon's Goetia class:
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
On Tuesday February 26th at 7pm I will be teaching/hosting the second in a three part series of classes at Horizon Oasis dealing with the Goetia. The Horizon Oasis Temple is located at 1423 10th Ave Seattle, WA 98122, between Pike and Union on Capitol Hill.
The second class is going to be divided into two parts.
The first half of the class will deal with the fundamentals of banishing rituals. We’ll be going over the lesser-banishing-ritual of the pentagram and the star ruby. We’ll also discuss when banishing is necessary, some history, forms and traditions, and of course offering some practical instruction for those who request it.
The second half of the class will cover the making of goetic sigils. We will have supplies on sight to make seals, discuss some techniques and try our hands at the arts-and-crafts side of the magickal art. Horizon has a small supply of copper disks for those who would like to just show up and learn. We’ll be charging $5.00 each for the disks and they are limited to what we have on hand. If you want to work with other metals, Home Depot carries both tin and lead. For gold, you are on your own!
The third class, On March 25th, we will be summoning a demon. As has been widely publicized, you do not need to attend every class in order to attend the third, but you must be able to properly demonstrate either the LBRP or Star Ruby to be admitted.
By the way, to answer the two frequently asked questions: No, you will not be asked to perform the rituals in front of the group, just me. And No, you cannot perform them for me astrally, you have to physically demonstrate the rituals. The other question that has not been asked, but that I will answer: Yes, I feel perfectly comfortable sending someone away if they cannot properly demonstrate a banishing…much more comfortable than I would feel letting them in.
Please feel free to cross post. I hope to see you all there.
Love is the law, love under will.
Jon
